Don’t miss the Iguanas this Saturday at Buckley Park

The Iguanas

The Iguanas are playing a benefit for KSUT Public Radio this Saturday at Buckley Park. Tickets are only available at Bank of The San Juans (all locations) and by phone at KSUT (970-563-0255).

The Event is at Buckley Park in downtown Durango. The gates open on Saturday, July 18, at 4 p.m.  The Lawn Chair Kings perform at 5 p.m. and the Iguanas will slither onstage at 7 p.m.And don’t worry about lines at the concessions this year — on July 18, we’ll have  MULTIPLE food and margarita booths, so no one will have to wait too long for their tacos and frozen drink.

Some rules and info about the event:

-No dogs, no alcohol or glass in the park
-Kids 12 and under are free
-Picnics are welcome, but again, no alcohol or glass
-Bring Lawn chairs or blankets

The Iguanas return to Durango for their fifth annual KSUT benefit concert. While the band’s roots are firmly in New Orleans, their music combines Mexican conjunto, R&B, Latin and Caribbean rhythms. Despite their well-deserved reputation as the ultimate party band, New Orleans’ Iguanas have always had a flair for melodies and lyrics as well as grooves and offer an incredibly fun and high energy concert experience. Their previous Durango performances have drawn capacity crowds and been enthusiastically received by the local audience. We look forward to seeing you there!
