KSUT’s Board of Directors welcomes new members, elects officers

The KUTE, Inc. Board of Directors, which is the governing board for Four Corners Public Radio and Tribal Radio welcomed four new members as we wrapped up 2010. They are:
· Williamette “Pebs” Thompson, Southern Ute Tribal Member from Ignacio. Williamette is a former KSUT staff member, currently working for Red Willow Production Company.
· Steve Williams, community member and enrolled member of the Muskogee Nation from Bayfield. Steve is a well know local musician and is employed by the Southern Ute Tribe’s construction department.
· Mike Stancampiano, community member from Bayfield. Mike is an Indian Probate Judge with the Dept. of the Interior.
· Kate Burke, community member from Durango. Kate is an attorney with her own practice.

The Board would like to thank and recognize outgoing members Maria Baker, Connie Dinning and Tom Bartels for their contributions.

The Board elected new officers at a recent weekend retreat. Outgoing Board President B.J. Boucher, who remains an active board member, has announced the following new officers for 2011:

President – Mike Stancampiano

Vice President – Steve Williams

Secretary – Kate Burke

Treasurer – Bill Cagle
