Panayoti Kelaidis, Horticulturalist and Senior Curator for Denver Botanic Gardens In-studio 2:30pm today

Denver Botanic Gardens Senior Curator and Director of Outreach, Panayoti Kelaidis is internationally known as a plantsman, botanist, and horticulturalist and is the one man who has done the most to transform horticulture in the Rocky Mountain states. He has lectured all over the world, and conducted plant exploration trips to Asia, Europe, South Africa, South and North America, and he has also written extensively. Mr. Kelaidis is in the area for an unprecedented four day stay in Durango through Sunday, October 10th to support the Durango Botanical Society.  He will visit Durango Nursury and Supply today (Friday, 7th) and give a lecture at the Durango Public Library and he will lead a plant hike on the 8th.  Tune in today at 2:30 for our conversation with Mr. Kelaidis and CSU Extension Director Darrin Parmenter.
